Barbed Wire

Barbed wire is made from 1.60mm and 2.50mm of Galvanised Iron (GI) wire. These two wires are then fed into the machine and twisted together to form a cable. Likewise, another wire is fed from the side that is twisted around the cable of the two wires to form a two-point barb. The ready wires are packaged into three main sizes for packaging and delivery; 20kg (480m), 25kg (610m) and 20kg (12.5 gauge). This sharply-cut wire is mainly used for security fencing, on top of a wall or other areas for added security.
